NEW ALBUM REVIEW: DJ Khaled - We The Best

Yea I know, This albums bean out for a min now. But, Ive been sketical to buying it , in that I've never bought a dj khaled album before. I mean the dude doesn't rap or sing. However, I'd never know unless i tried it. So heres the review.

Since ive loaded the album to my ipod a couple days ago, thats all I've been listening to; over and over again. The Tracks in listed order are:

1. Intro (We The Best): Its basically a lyrical Intro by DJ Khaled and Rick Ross drops a middle verse.

2. The Movement Skit: The movement skit is the scene of a female television news reporter stating that Dj Khaled is on the run. (Featured at beginning of "We takin Over" video.)

3. We Takin Over: The first single off the album Featuring: DJ Khaled. T.I., Akon, Birdman, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe And Rick Ross

4. Brown Paper Bag: Was the third single off the album Ft. DJ Khaled, Young Jeezy, Juelz Santana, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne and Dre. This song was on the end of the "Im So Hood Video" but only included a verse from Jeezy and the Chorus by Dre.

5. Im So Hood: The second single off the album, featuring: DJ Khaled, T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Plies. We wrote and post on this joint earlier that also featured the video itself.

6. Before The Solution: This is one of my fav joints off this album. It features: DJ Khaled, Beanie Sigel and Pooh Bear. Beanie Killed that joint with the Roc-A-Fella controversy.

7. Im From The Ghetto: Probably the most melo joint on the album. It features: DJ Khaled, The Game, Jadakiss, Trick Daddy and Dre. In love this joint. Its reminds you to never forget were you came from and to be proud of what you got.

8. Hit Them Up: Its Seems that every joint on this album was meant to represent a regional style of Hip-Hop. If so this obviouisly was meant to represent those Choped and Screwed Texas boys. The track Features: DJ Khaled, Bun B. and Paul Walll.

9. "S" On My Chest: Cash Mony Killed this joint. The joint features: DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne and Birdman.

10. B**** Im From Dade County: This should have been one of the top two singles off the album its simply that hot. As the name already suggest this joints basically the athem of the Dade County Region. The track features: DJ Khaled, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, Trina, Dre, Flo Rida, Brisco and C-Ride.

11. The Originators: This Joints basically a a tribute to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Describing their influence and tributes to this thing that we call Hip-Hop.

12. New York: As "Im So Hood" was the anthem to all the hoods across the world, New York is the anthem for what else, NEW YORK. The Track is simply sick, nothing else need to be said. It features; DJ Khaled, Jadakiss, Ja Rule and Fat Joe.

Overall, This is one of the best albums out right now period. To make it simple this album is basically a compelation of the Hip-Hop industry. Don't buy it because you like Dj Khaled, but get it because you love Hip-Hop, Because simply thats what your gona get.
